With a breathtaking chapel, dramatic staircases, lush private gardens and the striking Refectory, Chelsea Square is an unforgettable location for weddings, social corporate and non-profit events for up to 300 people. The iconic red brick Chelsea Square was built in 1895 as part of the General Theological Seminary complex and has since been the backdrop to some of New York’s most unique and memorable events.

The crown jewel is the Refectory, a cathedral-like, Gothic panelled grand hall with gilded arched ceilings and towering stained glass windows, reached by an immense baronial marble staircase.

Located in the Heart of the Chelsea Gallery District on West 20th Street, the stunning building is surrounded by lush private gardens, creating a beautiful oasis in the heart of the city.
