DESIGN, STYLING AND RECIPE INSPIRATION, WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED

With the Holidays quickly approaching, we are here to help alleviate any party-related stress. Hosting in your home should feel special and as stress-free as possible (yes, we know that sounds hard to imagine). If you’re planning on hosting this year, read along for Events by RHC’s Guide to a Spectacular Holiday Party at Home.

DESIGN AND STYLING

Take advantage of seasonal florals.  Anemones, Roses, Gladiolus, and Carnations are some of RHC’s top picks for stunning winter floral arrangements.

Stick to glass vessels for your flowers — let the beautiful colors of your arrangement shine. Glass is also sleek and elevates any table to the highest level of elegance.

Don’t overcomplicate your color palette, stick with neutrals and add pops of vibrant seasonal colors (we are loving gold hues for the holidays).

HOSTING ADVICE

Ask your guests ahead of time if they have any dietary restrictions that you should know about. You never want to be caught off guard and, of course, you want your guests to feel comfortable and safe.

You’ll be surprised at the number of dishes that can be made ahead of time. When planning the menu, consider each course and what you can prepare ahead of time.

Our biggest piece of advice for hosting in your home is don’t forget to enjoy. You’ve spent hours, possibly even days, prepping for this joyous occasion and it can be so easy to get swept away in all of it. Make sure to take the time to enjoy all the beauty, love and deliciousness you’ve worked so hard to bring into your home.

RHC RECIPES

Fresh, high-quality ingredients are the key to any good holiday spread. Our Culinary Director, Derek Hunt, has worked tirelessly with the Events by RHC team to craft recipes which highlight these beautiful, seasonal ingredients. Two of our favorite recipes for the colder months are Porcini Risotto with Arborio Rice, Pecorino Pepato and White Truffle Butter as well as Tamarind Glazed Braised Short Ribs with Sweet Potato Purée and Pickled Mango.
